Shih tzu with pug. Children both the pug and shih tzu are great with children. The pug shih tzu mix is not a full bred dog but a mixture between the shih tzu and the pug. Shih tzus are born of various colours although these can change over time. The pug is okay for new owners but may not be as easy as the shih tzu.
Mum is a shih tzu x pug dad is a full pug. They will leave with first vaccinations microchipped and will be put into the new owners names. Because of its parents size the shih tzu cross pug adult will only grow to about 12 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 8 and 16 pounds. So pups are 3 4 pug 1 4 shih tzu.
The pug zu is a small dog weighing 8 to 22 pounds and standing 8 to 12 inches tall. Grooming both breeds have high grooming requirements but the pug is slightly easier to groom between the two. A pug zu you get can have any of these characteristics and are sure to become the perfect choice for all types of families whether with children or those with small living space. Some may be born with the extra folds of skin seen of a pug but others may have the more slender shape of the shih tzu.
Owner experience the shih tzu is an excellent choice for new inexperienced owners. The shih tzu shares some of the pug s characteristics however the breed could develop small dog syndrome which is very rare in pugs. Another commonly known name for this dog is the pug zu. Usually however this dog will have a medium length coat that represents both sides of the family.
