I bought 8 fish from petco last week and was told if any of the fish die within 30 days to bring them fish receipt and a water sample back and they would replace the fish. Fish return policy. It wasn t their fault the fish died you killed them but they do have a two week return policy and don t care about fault. Original cartons should not be opened. If they come back as a non properly established tank they can technically deny you the refund saying it s your fault the fish died.
